Design, development and testing of an analog ECG amplifier

Abstract

Electrocardiography (ECG) is used to measure the electrical activity of the heart. This paper describes the development of a full analog ECG frontend with a notch filter. The design of the printed circuit board (PCB) is done by using Cadstar. The components were attached to the board manually with the stencil printed solder paste. Finally the product were tested against another ECG-device (AD8232).
