A Non-Iterative Field Based Vector Quantization Algorithm

This article describes a new and innovative algorithm for quantizing vectors in a two dimensional space in a non-iterative way. Additionally, this technique produces an optimal number of quantized vectors, and hence, the knowledge of the number of quantized vectors is not needed beforehand.Downloads
