Abstract

This article aims to analyze the state of the art application of autonomous vehicles in the context of logistics 4.0. To this end, a systematic literature review involving a bibliometric and qualitative analysis was conducted. The main results suggest that Industry 4.0 related technologies can increase efficiency, reduce transportation costs, and improve service levels. The study also reveals several research gaps and trends in autonomous vehicles and logistics 4.0.
