Simulation is one of the base technologies of Industry 4.0 widely used for planning and making decisions that need to be made faster and with the use of different technologies to obtain increasingly complex data in this process. This article presents an overview of how simulation has been applied in logistics through a systematic review, focusing on storage, with simulation being used in several areas of storage and obtaining satisfactory results
