The transport of live cargo: An analysis from an export perspective

Abstract

The present study was developed about the process of transporting live loads of animal origin, in urban and rural escopes; seen the agribusiness as one of the main locomotives for the progress of the world economy. Although there is numerous advances, both technological and legislative, there are few studies in this segment, which systematically analyze research based on how the process of transporting live animals occurs. Therefore, the objective of the study was to analyze the impacts of the process of transporting live loads, inherent to animal welfare and quality of the load, from the perpectiva of export, in which itwe sought to identify how transport can directly or indirectly influence this fundamental step to the final consumer or its export. A cross-analysis of the main points related to the transport of live cargo suggests the equalization of transport with the use of effective technological solutions. Finally, as a result of this study, there is a need for training and development of frontline professionals in the transport of live loads.
