Abstract

The dark web is a part of the world wide web however it is only accessible with the use of specific software and configuration. This paper will aim to provide information on how to access the dark web as well as the services being offered, and the security challenges present within the dark web. The dark web has always been in constant debate over whether users should be allowed complete anonymity due to the awful services which are present within the dark web. There are still however a few positives such as the access to information and complete anonymity however these positives are heavily outweighed by the negatives available upon the dark web.
