In this paper, we consider a method for estimating the riding posture of a vehicle driver from a wearable accelerometer and conduct a field test. In recent years, sensor technology has progressed, and it is being considered to acquire vital data using wearable sensors and analyze work conditions for safety management. Bus and taxi drivers have high needs for safety management to avoid accidents. However, since the acceleration of the car is added to the acceleration of the wearable sensor while riding, there is no guarantee that the correct driving posture can be determined. Therefore, in this paper, we examine the method of estimating posture while riding using the acceleration data of hitoe, a T-shirt type sensor, and perform a field test and implement a sample application.
