ANALYSIS OF A BRANCH OF CLOVERLEAF IN A BRAZILIAN CITY

This article measures a branch of “Trevo das Três Lagoas”, a road block between federal highways BR-101 and BR-230, located in João Pessoa - PB; presents some basic concepts of highway and full cloverleaf, brings some data about current conditions, such as geometric characteristics, vehicular flow and accident statistics of the site, shows some problems observed by its users, such as absence of auxiliary tracks, braking in the main lane, conflicts between vehicles, bicycles and pedestrians; proposes solutions to the problems presented.
