Abstract

In this project a design of low-profile wearable antenna is simulated on CST software. This proposed design is an analysis of CPW fed monopole with AMC (Artificial Magnetic Conductor) working as a ground. The design is made-up using different layers of Pellon Fabric mainly as textile material. This material is vastly used in different scientific, medical and industrial fields. In my proposed design of AMC antenna, it enhances the gain value up to little extent. The results from CST shows that the working of AMC antenna is good in all structural aspects like in the bending and crumping form. It also works efficiently if placed on any part of human body. Also, the numerical analysis shows that by adding AMC, the Specific Absorption Rate (SAR) values can be reduced in some conditions.  For doing body analysis, three various models of body having different compositions & shapes were used.
