Abstract

An approach to the calculation of capacitance matrices of microstrip multiconductor transmission lines with and without a screen is proposed. The calculation is made by the method of moments. The approach is based on the use of correct automatic selection of remote boundaries of transmission lines cross-sections. To validate the approach, 4 transmission lines were investigated, 2 of them with a variable number of conductors. It is shown that the use of the proposed approach makes it possible to accurately calculate the capacitance matrices.
