Investigation of the influence of multiconductor transmission lines remote boundaries on the accuracy of calculating their capacitance matrices by the method of moments

An approach to the calculation of capacitance matrices of microstrip multiconductor transmission lines with and without a screen is proposed. The calculation is made by the method of moments. The approach is based on the use of correct automatic selection of remote boundaries of transmission lines cross-sections. To validate the approach, 4 transmission lines were investigated, 2 of them with a variable number of conductors. It is shown that the use of the proposed approach makes it possible to accurately calculate the capacitance matrices.
