Survey on Security Credential Management System and Secure V2X by ChatGPT

Abstract

Due to the importance of security for Vehicular Ad-hoc NETwork (VANET), Security Credential Management System (SCMS) and Secure Vehicle-to-Everything (V2X) communication are surveyed in this study for SCMS researchers. This study designs sequential prompts that are presented in Section II to supervise ChatGPT for generating the reviews of SCMS and secure V2X. The hot research topics of security and privacy in V2X communications, authentication and access control in V2X networks, key management in V2X networks, and security and privacy in SCMS have been summarized and discussed. Finally, the limitations of SCMS and secure V2X are also surveyed for indicating the future work.
