An initial study of IoT services environmental adaptation

Abstract

In recent years, the use of heterogeneous hard has been increasing in various fields such as cloud and IoT, but the barriers to utilization are high. We have been proposing and working on environment-adaptive software that automatically performs code conversion etc. to operate appropriately according to the environment. We have been working on conversion, placement, reconfiguration, etc. as part of the process of environment-adaptive software, but until now the only target for adaptation was accelerators. In this paper, we address the environmental adaptation of IoT devices with a small amount of resources in order to increase the number of targets for environmental adaptation.
