Abstract

The results of experimental investigations of the influence of differential amplitude attenuation of orthogonally linearly polarized components of signals on the 8-km ground track on their polarization characteristics at the reception point are presented.

The dependences for the investigated measurement period of the average values of the level change of the received orthogonally polarized signals and their phase difference, as well as the calculated values of the polarization ellipse orientation angle and the values of the ellipticity coefficient in the three-centimeter wavelength range are given.
