The shift towards online education has highlighted the need for effective student engagement monitoring. Unlike traditional class rooms, online environments often lack mechanisms to track attentiveness, resulting in increased instances of student inattention. IntelliGaze AI addresses this issue by integrating gaze tracking, head pose estimation, and a specialized attention scoring algorithm to quantify student engagement in real time. This paper outlines the development, implementation, and testing of IntelliGaze AI, emphasizing its unique contribution to digital education. The system’s personalized scoring algorithm adapts to individual behavioral nuances, providing dynamic feedback on user attention. Initial testing demonstrates IntelliGaze AI’s potential to offer nonintrusive, scalable, and accessible monitoring of student engagement.
