Abstract

We present a comprehensive analysis of the superconducting transition in Sn₄Au single crystals through resistivity measurements and theoretical modeling. The transition exhibits a Fermi-Dirac-type behavior with critical temperature T_c = 2.30 ± 0.01 K and transition width ΔT = 0.20 ± 0.02 K. Mathematical derivation confirms the inflection point in ρ(T) precisely coincides with T_c, indicating a homogeneous superconducting phase. Angle-resolved measurements reveal two-fold anisotropy with upper critical field ratio Γ = H_{c2}^‖/H_{c2}^⊥ = 1.26 ± 0.03. These findings establish Sn₄Au as a model system for studying anisotropic superconductivity in non-centrosymmetric materials.
