Clinical and Knowledge Characterization of Radiological Risks: In patients with Axial and Helical Tomography in a Hospital in Managua, Nicaragua corresponding to the year 2022.

The increase since 2007 of public investment in the Nicaraguan health system influences the acquisition of new equipment for radiodiagnosis including Computed Axial Tomography, the study is carried out in a hospital center in the city of Managua, applying a quantitative methodology, making a sampling taking as reference the workload of the team of the previous semester of 5,464 patients who were treated with CT, worked with a sample of 359 patients with a confidence interval of 95% which generates the interest of analyzing patients who are users of this type of diagnostic method to know the main clinical and anatomical characteristics, type of origin and knowledge they have about the radiation zones within the areas of radiodiagnosis, in this research it is presented from the perspective of the patients if they know or not about the effects of ionizing radiation.
