Abstract

We have proposed environment-adaptive software that automatically converts existing code to suit the deployment environment and operates appropriately. Until now, automation for FPGAs has mainly considered whether to offload individual loop statements. However, because FPGAs use hardware processing, it has not been possible to achieve sufficient speed improvement compared to manual modification. In this paper, we focus on automatic FPGA offloading with a middle size computation larger than individual loop statements.
