Abstract

We have proposed environment-adaptive software that automatically converts existing code to suit the deployment environment and operates appropriately. Until now, automation for many-core CPUs has mainly considered whether to offload individual loop statements. However, because many-core CPUs make use of hardware characteristics for their processing, it has not been possible to achieve sufficient speed improvement compared to manual modifications. This paper focuses on automatic offloading to many-core CPUs of calculations with larger granularity than individual loop statements.
