Testing the performance stability of a function generator against temperature variations is an important part of quality control for laboratory instrumentation equipment. This study aims to analyze the effect of temperature variations on the stability of output frequency and to identify the characteristics of the Negative Temperature Coefficient (NTC) in the internal components of the device. The research uses a quantitative method by measuring the frequency of the function generator at 25 temperature increase points within a thermal isolation chamber. The research results show a negative relationship between the increase in the temperature and the output frequency, where the frequency gradually decreases as the temperature rises. These findings indicate that temperature changes effect the frequency stability of the function generator and show the influence of NTC characteristics on the internal components of the device. Therefore, temperature control during the operation of the function generator needs to be considered to maintain frequency stability and improver the reliability of measurement results.
