An evaluation of the structure, chemical, and phase composition of a coating made of the self-fluxing alloy PG-10N-01 was performed. A model for calculating the shape of the coverage was developed. It is shown that the effective capillary constant, determined using a weld bead sample and the 3DLD method, integrally accounts for spreading, diffusion interaction with the substrate material, and crystallization during coating formation. This allows for a more accurate calculation of the specified shape of the deposited bead. Proposals have been formulated regarding the possibility of applying 3DLD technology in robotic cladding and additive manufacturing using self-fluxing alloys.
