Capital Development Authority (CDA) wants to develop one of its newly planned sectors in Islamabad. The planned population of the sector is 100,000 persons. The average consumption of per capita is 135 l/c/d with 250 mg/l of Biological Oxygen Demand (BOD). You need to calculate the total wastewater generation rate and total concentration of organic load to be removed from the wastewater. Moreover, Apply/use different wastewater treatment techniques to control/ remove the contamination from wastewater to recover the environment and natural resources. Devise different comparisons among the various suitable techniques including aerobic biological treatment offering all type of treatments (4 examples 2 from each, suspended and attached growth systems).Downloads
