On the Calculation of Spectral Density of the Videopulse Signals Described by the Polygonal Functions

It is shown that the polygonal functions are adequate models of signals used in digital telecommunication systems. Based on the properties of the Laplace transform and its connection with the Fourier transform, an analytical model for calculating the spectral density of videopulses has been developed. The results of calculating the passage of pulse signals through linear inertial circuits are presented. Calculations examples are given that allow evaluating the practical possibilities of the developed model.
